Animal Fact Guide houses information about interesting and endangered animals around the world.
Each article features an animal's physical characteristics, habitat (with a distribution map), diet, breeding patterns, unique traits and behavior, and when applicable, conservation and tips on what you can do to help.
If you would like to learn more about a particular animal you have seen on the site, we have listed other good online resources at the bottom of that animal's fact page.
In addition, the koala sidebar on the right of each page and our Books & DVDs page provide recommended selections of wildlife documentaries, TV shows, animal encyclopedias, field guides, and magazines available from Amazon.com.

Not only can you read fascinating articles about animals around the world on Animal Fact Guide, you can also download FREE animal coloring pages, word searches, mazes, and desktop wallpapers. The coloring pages, mazes, and word searches are provided as printable PDFs, so be sure to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
Our Teacher Tools section provides educators with worksheets designed to help students develop reading and internet research skills while learning about the animals of the world.

About the Founders
Animal Fact Guide was created by web designer and illustrator Abi Cushman and secondary school teacher P.A. Smith in 2008. Both lifelong animal lovers, Cushman and Smith wanted to build a comprehensive resource for those interested in learning about wildlife.
Owners of two house rabbits, Cushman and Smith also manage a website about pet rabbit care and behavior called My House Rabbit.
